We are now planning our June litter. This litter will be ready to go around the end of June. All the information on the sire and dam and this litter is found on the right hand side of this page under litters. We are now taking deposits to hold your puppy. We have a black male available from this litter. He is a great pup with a good temperament and lots of personality. He loves to use his nose, curious, playful and will follow you everywhere. Quick Puppy Update

Today we took the puppies to the vet for their first exam and first set of puppy shots. Everyone did great and they all checked out. The puppies have also received 3 treatments of wormer. They have already had their dew claws removed. They will be getting their mirco-chips tomorrow. They are growing fast and they all have great personalities. This has been a really fun litter. We are excited for everyone to come pick up their puppies.

Today I took several videos of the puppies at different times of the day. It took some time but I think it was successful. The puppies are really starting to show their personalities and they are discovering the world around them. They are really becoming a lot of fun.

Sorry it is a long time coming for some new pictures but I was waiting for every one's eyes to open. The yellow male with the blue collar is still working on getting his eyes open so he will need new pictures again not happy with the ones we took of him but they are posted. Also on the black males I had to change a color on a couple because I ran out of the colored collars that they had on before. Changes are black male that had the black collar is now yellow collar and the puppy with no collar is now green.

The puppies are really becoming fun and personalities are starting to come out. The pictures are getting harder to take but we will keep them coming.

Big Congratulations

We just wanted to congratulate both of our boys for receiving their Eagles last night. We know they have worked really hard and we really want to thank all of those who took the time to help them get their projects done.

We also want to let the Sioux Falls and surrounding areas know about one of the Eagle Projects. At Buffalo Lake there now sits a handicap-accessible duck blind. Game, Fish and Parks will be constructing a pathway from the parking area to the blind. It will be ready for the next hunting season. Our son wanted us to mention this on our site so that people are aware that it is out there for use.

I have had several people ask how Mookie was doing. He is in training for Avalanche search and rescue in Colorado. His owner Caroline has sent me a update and here is what she had to say about him.

"Mookie-by the way-is doing great in everything! His obedience is great, and he has recently started his avalanche training. He got to load into a helicopter a few days ago-just to see what it was like. He has been getting on the chairlift, riding snowmobiles and in snowcats. We started doing tons of drills-and he has a great nose, and loves to work. All the guys on patrol love having him around too! I will keep you updated."

We just wanted to congratulate our daughter on her hunting. She is showing her big brothers that she is a good shot and can keep up with them. She was able to get 2 doves on her first dove hunt and has one pheasant up on her brothers.

Puppy Update

The puppies are doing great they are growing so fast. Today they were examined by the vet and the vet found them to be healthy with no problems. They also received their first set of shots today and will be receiving micro-chips tomorrow. Time is going by fast but this has really been a great litter. The puppies all have great temperaments and very fun personalities. We are excited to meet the all of the owners and see friends from other litters picking up new puppies. Puppies are growing fast and getting lots of fun. This is a great litter personalities are starting to show and they are on the move. Here are some updated pictures of them this far. They are now 17 days in the pictures. We still have some males available in this litter. We are now starting a waiting list for spring litters

This has been a great litter. Puppies are doing great and personalities are slowly starting to show. Its crazy to think how fast they are growing. We have a new litter of great looking pups. This litter is a tri-factored litter. WE have 4 black males, 2 yellow males, 2 black females (one is now sold), and 1 chocolate female. Sire is Gunner (black) a great dog with lots of personality. He is hard working in the field but a perfect gentleman at home. He has a great pedigree of Field Trial/ Hunt Test and Certified Pointing Labs in his 4 year pedigree. Dam is Shadow (black) also is a great dog. Loves to please, great with kids and will retrieve all day. She also has a great pedigree lots of Field Trial/ Hunt Test titles in her 4 year pedigree. You can view both of their pedgriees on the left side of this blog under (Gunner) K and R Get Your Gunner and (Shadow) K and R Duck Here She Comes II.

Puppies now have dew claws removed, will have first shots, de-wormed. They will be micro-chipped, have CERF test done at 6 weeks. They will come with AKC papers, 26 month hip guarantee, and puppy start kit (which includes what to do with your puppy, training suggestions, health record. Puppies will be ready to go December 27th. They can be picked up right before Christmas if you chose to do so.

$100 deposit to hold your pick. The deposit does go towards the full price of the puppy.

Our 2 boys that were able to go hunting had a great day with the dogs and shooting at the roosters that flushed. We didn't get any birds this day but made a lot of memories.

Jax's first South Dakota pheasent hunt

Jax is owned by a couple in Brandon South Dakota. He is out of a litter from Tess. He was a 2009 spring litter, and he came from a litter of 10. His owners are very happy with him and have had lots of fun hunting with him this year, and have told me he is a quick learner. I get to see Jax from time to time and he is definitely a dog I would have kept, great personality, nice looks, and loves to please. Thanks for sending us the pictures,we are glad he has worked out perfect for you.

Future Spring Litters

We are planning 2 spring litters this year. One litter will be sired by Pizz and Shadow is the dam and the other litter will be sired by Pizz and the dam is Dee Dee.

Pizz and Shadow have had successful litters in the past. The puppies have been and are healthy and have great personalities and have gone on to make great hunting and family companions. This will be a black and yellow litter.

This will be a first breeding for Pizz and Dee Dee. We are expecting healthy puppies from this litter. We feel that with both of the Sire's and Dam's personalities we will have puppies that will be great hunters and have excellent temperaments. This litter will be an all yellow litter.

Also if you are interested in either of these litters let us know right away as we have started taking deposits for both litters. You can see Sire and Dams pedigrees on this website. First Day of Pheasant Youth Hunt South Dakota

Cody had a great day learning how to read his dog and shoot for pheasants. He know loves it more than any other kind of hunt. Says South Dakota is the place to hunt. They saw pheasants all day but he says he needs to work on his shooting. Cody says its a little harder to shoot when they are flying through the air, but he will go back out in a heart beat just to do it again. Shadow did great loved working the fields.

Cherokee will be great missed by those who loved and knew him. He was owned by the Terrell Family who always considered him as more than just a pet, but as a best friend and close family member. We are sorry for their loss and our hearts go out to them.

Remingtion has been sold

Remington comes from excellent hunting lines and he has a great personality, and a good temperament. He is starting basic obedience and he is learning quickly. He loves to hang out with you. Remington is going to make a great family or hunting companion. He can be shipped or we would be willing to deliver him to certain areas. Remington's dewclaws are removed, he is up to date on all shots, dewormed. He has been micro-chipped. He will come with AKC papers. Both Sire and Dam have nice pedigrees. Sire has 11 titled Field Trial/Hunt Test dogs in his 4 year pedigree. Dam has 10 titled Field Trial/Hunt Test dogs in her 4 year pedigree. We have had a lot of fun with this litter. The puppies are all healthy and full of lots of personality. They have all turned out with nice temperaments. Most of our puppies have gone to their new homes this weekend, and some more will be going to their new homes next week. We have 3 black males left in this litter and they have lots of potential for either family or hunting companions. After a long wait we have a new litter of puppies. Out of this litter we currently have 1 yellow female, 2 yellow males and 5 black males still available. There were 10 puppies total in this litter and all look health and active. Tess is doing great and is very attentive to each puppy. Pictures will soon be posted to show off this nice looking litter.
